Kiss and Aerosmith last night. Automatic Black opened. All 3 bands kicked major ass. We were 13 rows back, dead center, by the catwalk. *g*
First, Automatic Black. Pennsylvania peoples may recognize the name, as they're from there. *g* Nice group. Nice Bass player. *g* I got to say 'Hi' to him later on, 'cause he was hanging around the backstage curtain later during the Kiss set when I went to get a drink. Couldn't get an autograph 'cause no one had a FUCKING PEN. *grr*
Kiss. Oh. My. Gods. Full pyro. Full makeup. Gene with the blood coming from his mouth and flying to the rafters! They partied like crazy. You could feel the heat from the pyro back where we were, I don't even want to know what it was like ON STAGE.
Aerosmith.
Can I just die and go to heaven now? Really. Okay, Kiss partied, Aerosmith fucking ROCKED! They started out with 'Mama Kin' and kept going right to the end of 'Dream On' without breaks. And they used the catwalk, LOTS. *g* Can I just say, I want Joe Perry's guitar. The one with the stripes. *g*
