Went to Walmart with Di and picked up the Baker's Rack we wanted. Came home and put it together. (YAY ME!)

About 8, we headed over to Rosenblatt to watch the fireworks. Spent 4 hours sitting on the 10th St Bridge, right over the I-80 Westbound lanes. :) The fireworks were suppossed to start about 10, but the game went to 14 innings, and so they were pushed back until 11:45.

Got to eat cottoncandy, ice cream. Drank soda. Got pretty flashing light balls. And played frisbee with circles of glow sticks.

After the show, we went to Village Inn to eat (Strawberry Crepes, yum!) and watched the rain pour down and flood the streets.

I'm in a much better mood, just *really* tired. It's been over 24 hours since I last slept. And Mother Nature is putting on her own lights display.

In the TV Section of the Omaha World Herald:

Cover Story:
Sci-Fi's 'Stargate: SG-1' goes for eight

Who cares if the Goa'uld System Lords are about to attack Earth, or if the Asgard are going to show up in time to save the day, or if the giant Ancient Weapon is of any more use to Earth than a pea-shooter?

The real question looming as Sci-Fi Channel's "Stargate SG-1" starts its eighth season Friday, July 9, is: Will cryogenically frozen Col. Jack O'Neill be thawed and survive so that he and Maj. Samantha Carter can hook up ... or not?
