lj_nifty, there have been some people posting a random image generator that randomly takes pics that you posted on your own LJs to a website elsewhere without your knowledge. One such example is this.
This could either mean you are getting your bandwidth zapped or you're having your family photos posted on a website somewhere at random intervals.
Apparently, someone confronted a website that had this code. You can read about what happened here. In a nutshell, she received a reply from LJ Support who gave this tip on how to prevent your images posted on LJ to be placed on this image generator.
Go to Admin Console.
Enter the following command:
set latest_optout yes
For communities:
set for *insert community name* latest_optout yes
