What's with today, today?
Jul. 13th, 2008 01:24 amToday was... eventful. Worked this morning, from 11 to 2. Then I went to my brother's house.
See, Friday I took his wife to the Neb. Furniture Mart to pick out a new laptop. Today I had to go out to their place to figure out why the damn thing wouldn't connect wirelessly to their modem (He entered the number key wrong), and to network both of their laptops and their new printer togeter. In payment, he bought me dinner.
Then I went out. We went to this one bar and grill 'with a cowboy feel'. Best quote of the night came while we were reading the menu. "Are you going to cowboy up or lay there and bleed?" I have no idea what it is from, but we all started cracking up. (Of course, we were discussing bondage when said quote happened.)
After beers and burgers, we skipped over to The Metal Slides of Fun Death! and played on them for a while. Booze, wax paper and metal slides make for a sleepy, happy Kym.
