leaveoutalltherestI had an epiphany last night/early this morning.
First off, this isn't about any one person. This is about pretty much everyone I rp with, with one notable exception, but that's because I rp with that person so rarely, that they tend to stick with any scene they jump in on until the very end.
Between trying to keep up with the Nexus crap, my personal rps and multiple crisis there, work/training and getting a decent amount of sleep, I've been neglecting a few other rp groups I'm a member of.
So, I have come to a decision. I'm going to focus on one of the GJ groups and hopefully things will settle down with training enough that I can refocus on the other as well. I apped those groups and I got in, I need to honor my commitment to them or at least try to before they just boot my ass to the curb.
If I feel like posting an LJ char, I will. I get responses, yay! I don't, I'm not going to stress it anymore. I'm tired of suggesting scenes and then being forgotten, so I will not be asking for scenes for a while. If someone feels like rping with me, that's cool. They can decide the chars and the scene.
I'd rather fill my time rping with a character I'm really not in the mood for and get a thread finished; instead of rping with a character I am in the mood for and never making it past a sixth tag. I hate having threads unfinished because I'm not sure where stuff went and not sure what I'm supposed to have my chars do when certain characters, questions or situations come up. I'm tired of waiting and waiting for a response after I've tagged someone, especially when I know people aren't idle, because they're in chat or bouncing around on threads on DM or Sages. So, in order to avoid that, I won't ask for scenes with characters that everyone is apparently tired of playing with or don't want to play with.
So, to sum this long thing up... If you want something, tell me what YOU want. I have other things I could be doing with my time other than waiting for you. Like playing my sims or working on other rps.
Now, I am going to bed because I have only had an hour nap and I'll be lucky if I get more than 5 more hours of sleep before work tonight.
