leaveoutalltherestYesterday was the youngest brother's birthday. Yes, all of my mother's children are officially over a half century old. *clings to 19, refuses to acknowledge that she's older than that*
Anyway, fate decided he couldn't have a happy, drama-free birthday. 5am yesterday (Thursday), his baby momma's mom got a phone call that they needed her to identify her daughter. Brandy is alive, but she was in a really nasty car crash. From what her mom was told, Brandy went to a party after leaving the bar about 2. Some other guy wanted to run down to the gas station, so he borrowed a car and Brandy went with. Mind you, at this point, her BAC was at LEAST 2.5 times over the legal limit, so she wasn't making decent judgement calls. What the guy told the cops after he turned himself in, is that the car slid on the road, hopped a curb and the passender side slammed into a tree. The guy moved the car, pulled Brandy out, HID THE FUCKING CAR and then went back to Brandy. He hid behind a house and call 911, and stayed until he saw the emergency people show up.
Brandy has a bruised lung, broken rib, cuts and bruises all over, a severe concussion and bleeding on the brain. So far, she is stable but serious condition, but is currently sedated because she kept trying to get up and leave the hospital. And it's just a waiting game for the next two days.
TJ's kids are NOT taking it well though. I guess Skyler cried himself to sleep last night after going to see his mom and Desi is smart enough to figure out that -something- bad happened to her mom.
