Ohmigod, yer on prednisone? How much?

BTW, you can take it with a glass of milk and it won't upset your stomach. Or at least that worked for me. And if you forget, just down lots of milk as soon as you remember after taking the pills.

I went to the hospital Saturday morning due to asthma problems, got diagnosed with acute bronchitis (The ER doc was an IDIOT, it's a minor upper respitory infection according to my regular doc), and prescribed 40mg of Prednisone for 4 days.

My reg doc had a fit, and said I was right for doing 40mg the first day and then tapering off. (30mg 2nd & 3rd, 20mg 4th&5th...)

And if my brother hadn't drank all the milk yesterday morning, I would have when the cramps started. *g*

Prednisone is EVIL! It's like the most vile-tasting medication out there, and my doctor mentioned NOTHING about having to take it with food for me. . .no wonder I felt like ass every time . . .

The pharmacist didn't say anything to you either? Damn, it even says on the paper they give you to take it with food, someone should have mentioned it. You were wronged girl!
