Personally, I felt it was a relief to get it over with. I mean, I can see now why she said that one of the characters was going to die. Not only from the marketing side, but because it drove up the tension. The whole book was "Maybe this person is going to die. Oh, no, wait, maybe THIS person is going to die." It stopped us thinking logically about it. Sirus now has a house that's protected by magic. It has a Secret Keeper and lots of people loyal to Dumbledore guarding it. Harry can stay with Sirus. But that'd mean Harry wouldn't have to live with the Dursleys anymore.

Personally, what I found interesting was that Hufflepuff house is no longer the house where the `loyalist' people go. It's the house where the rejects from the other houses are put. Gryffindor takes the bravest, Ravenclaw the smartest, Slytherin the most ambitious, and Hufflepuff takes everyone else. Poor old Hufflepuff.
