leaveoutalltherest1. When do you put your Christmas decorations up? Whenever I get around to it. Usually around the 11th or 12th.
2. Do you prefer to use Christmas lights that are all one color, or do you go for the multicolor effect? Multicolor motion lights with multiple settings. Then set them on twinkle-flash, turn off the lights and watch the cats have fits. *eg*
3. Real tree or fake? Prefer a real one, but going with fake this year.
4. Where do you get your tree? Real, tree farm. Fake, storage room.
5. Perfectly shaped tree, or one with character? Whichever one everyone agrees on. (of course, one year it was...very deformed.)
6. Where do you put your tree? Big bay window in the living room.
7. Tinsel or garland? Neither, the kitties get sick from them.
8. Blinking lights or solid lights on the tree? Hyper-active, super fast flashing. Until everyone freaks out on me and I have to slow them down.
9. What sits on the very top of your tree? Huge, white blinking star. Can see it a block away.
10. Eggnog or hot chocolate? Eggnog, hot chocolate, coffee, cappacuinno, whatever alcohol is around...
11. What does your family Christmas feast consist of? Ham, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, rolls, pies, fruit salads. I usually get KFC.
12. What day do you typically hold your Christmas celebrations? Um, usually the 24th or the 26th at my mom's. 25th at Grandma Jo's.
13. When do you open your presents? Why open them? I've known what I'm getting for months now.
14. Do you open them all at once, or one by one? I wait until everyone else is done.
15. Favorite Christmas movie? The Grinch, the cartoon version. The Nutcracker.
17. Do you have any family holiday traditions that you partake in each year? Not really.
18. For New Year's Eve, do you go out, or stay in? Not sure yet.
