So. Signed the lease on the new house. We'll be moving in on the first of April, definately. We'll have the deposit, need to see if we can get some help getting March's rent so we can move in before April. I want out of here, asap.
The other option is to use the money we have as rent and pay off the deposit a bit each week with our unemployment checks, but we need those for deposits on utilities and internet. And we need to get those paid.
Got some more information from my aunt about the InfoUSA job. Going to pick up an Atlantic newspaper when we go through on Monday morning.
And I found out why we could never get in to see the house. The maintance guy has small kids, and is apparently a single parent. So he works in the mornings when his kids are in school and leaves when they get out.
So we'll try to get to see the inside of the house on Monday morning. I did get a good look at the downstairs rooms. Two bedrooms, both look like they can fit fullsize beds and a dresser. Maybe a desk. Both have closets. Also, the other room runs the full width of the house. Appears to be a family room/rec room type with a laundry area.
Slight dread, but lots of excitement. But that's normal.
