Pretty sure I got into one of the local colleges. I just have to take a COMPASS (no, I have no idea what it stands for) test, and I already left a message with the enrollment counselor. Yeah, I won't start until fall, but at least I'll get two semesters in.
Di is getting me the money I need to enroll in a bartending class too. (Yes, I checked out the school. It's a vocational type one, that's accredited and has schools all over. Kinda like Vatterott or ITT Tech.) Turns out the local casinos and nightclubs check with them for bartenders before sticking an ad in the paper.
As for my post this morning? Well, as I told some others... I misread a set of instructions, fucked up a set of questions and ended up failing a behavorial quiz that any redneck dropout could pass and didn't get the job. And I can't reapply for a year. It was a cakewalk interview and test, and I fucked it up.
Then Di made me go on a THREE FUCKING MILE HIKE, and I ended up passing out for 2 & 1/2 hours afterwards. ...did I mention that 2 miles of that was UPHILL??
Oh well, I needed it. Add in the other walking I did today and I did clost to 5 miles today. ...I'm gonna be in pain tomorrow.
And I think I'm going to go to bed.
