I finally watched the end of 'Kiss Kiss Bang Bang'.



Obviously, from what I could tell when I paused it, Grey is a child. Most likely, Jack and John's child. And I have come to this conclusion because a) Jack said once he'd been pregnant, and b) John kept saying that he and Jack shared 'a thing', and c) because of the kid's hand at the very last flashback before John disappeared.

So. Grey is Jack's kid who was lost somehow.

Either that or it is Jack who was the child, but I find your theory equally if not more intriguing!
