Umm, are strawberries good for dogs? Mia just stole one of mine, and I had to ask.
She does like mango though. And apples, carrots (LUVS carrots), pickles, cucumber, bananas, peaches, pears... She's not big on pineapple though.

The things you want them to stay away from are animal bones that haven't been boiled- although not giving them any is probably a good thing to do, just to be safe. Bones can break, especially if your dog is on the large side, and at the least can slice the tongue. At worst, can cut up their innards as they try to pass it. Bones can also give your dog splinters that will travel from the mouth all the way through the digestive system- In short, think eating glass shards. Nasty. Another thing you want to avoid at all cost is chocolate. It's highly toxic to dogs- a pound of it can kill a medium sized dog.
Those are the only two that I can think of off the top of my head. Dogs are omnivores, just like people. They like fruits and veggies, and it's good for them, since dog food is meat-based. If your dog seems sick after eating something, they may be allergic to it- same way as some people are allergic. Good thing to take 'em to the vet if that's so. But for the most part, just find out what the pooch likes and have at it. :)
This lecture has been brought to you by someone who takes care of WAY too many dogs. ;
