Yep. People are stupid. And someone painted a 'You get a kajillion points if you DON'T hit this car, but come really damn close' sign on my car.
First, at the clinic, I was waiting for Di to come out. Two stalls over, this chick hits the gas instead of the brakes and slams into the Ford Explorer in front of her, knocking it into the Nissan Pathfinder beside it, barely missed the Mazda between us, which would have pushed it into me. >.<
Then, on the way home, crossing through a MAJOR intersection, some red car makes an illegal right turn on red, so does the Mercury Cougar behind it. The Cougar came -this fucking close- to hitting me, rams the red car in front of it. They both go racing down the road, the Cougar chasing the red car, and they're yelling and throwing shit out the windows at each other.
Yeah, I'm going to stay home until I absolutely HAVE to leave.
And you know, I just realised I was listening to 'Life is a Highway' both times. Maybe it's a sign.
