Here's to my first mentor in the fic world.
To the one who boosted my confidence by asking to host the only fic I ever wrote.
The one who didn't care when I showed up on her doorstep at 10pm the night before the con, welcomed me with open arms and offered up the last of the floorspace for me to sleep.
And then stayed up until 3am the last nght of the con, talking with us in the gazebo outside her apartment, while we waited for the airport shuttle to show.
The one who re-introduced me to the world created by Tolkien.
The one who introduced me to Sages.
The one who will be missed forever.
