So. Life completely and totally sucks.

GranJo finally got the biopsy results back. She has Stage 2 cancer. She starts chemo on Jan 2nd (Happy fucking New Year), 8 rounds of that. Then radiation.

She's decided not to have Christmas at her place this year, because she doesn't feel up to it.

Yeah. Can I get a redo of this year? Please?

Cancer is very, very scary. My mother was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer several years ago now. She's in remission now, which we are all very happy for. I don't know what kind of cancer it is, but know that cancer is more treatable now than it has ever been, and Stage 2 means it could be far, far worse than it is. Your GranJo has options, and I'm sure they will be explored. Be strong, have faith, and if you ever want to talk about my experience going through this with my Mom, I'm on AIM as morethantwice.
