It has definitely been one of those days.

leaveoutalltherestLong day, would have been short, except we had a new client to take do so I didn't get home until 7pm. And tomorrow starts at 7am.
Of course, I get a phone call (that I missed because I was in the shower) and three texts. The wonderful coworker that I have? The one that I've been pissy with recently? Yeah... J may not be working with us for long.
Now, Boss knew she was going out of town this weekend. The boss had a four day weekend planned anyway. Boss had been told that J would be leaving Wednesday afternoon/evening after work. J tells Boss THIS MORNING that no, now she's leaving Wednesday morning and won't be able to work. She knew this Saturday night, and didn't text or call Boss.
Did I ever mention that she's Boss' niece by marriage? Yep. Boss' husband's is J's uncle.
Anyway, the phone call and the texts were basically Boss telling me how awesome I am, how much she and her husband appreciate my help and that J wouldn't be working tomorrow and would be back on Monday, maybe. I don't know what happened or what was said, just that I'll have lots of hours and stuff. And that Boss will be hiring two part-time people and letting me have full-time.
So... wow.
