I'm sorry, Will. I know I dumped a lot of shit on you last night and then said I would be over it this morning, but apparently I'm not. I think maybe it's best if I just stay away from chat and everything for a day or two and focus on finishing this first week of training. I can't deal with the shit online and my job at the same time.
That said, I need to say something else.
I know I said I was cool with it, I'm not. There's something very upsetting and angering about coming home to find out that someone has basically set up your pup's future without asking you. A pup that you created and spent the last year building up to make more than a two dimensional character. That they couldn't wait a few hours for you to get home from work before making a pup that says 'This Happened' without your input or say so, hurts. This is the second time it's happened with a situation like this.
It's even worse because you spent your entire lunch break fleshing out a bio and character line, only to have to throw it away because you can't make the character anymore. And if you say 'no, I don't want this to happen' it fucks up the threads and storylines and canon and stuff that was established in the mere four hours you were gone.
It sucks. And all I can say is I am very glad it wasn't Jason's kid that was made because I would have packed up my characters and quit instead of spending half the night fighting the urge to hit something and cry. I resent knowing that if I had done this to someone else's chars without asking, seven kinds of hell would have been raised and I would have been expected to retcon it or claim it was AU. Yet, when it's done to me, I'm supposed to be happy and bouncy and go 'how cute' and play along.
I'm feeling more and more like I just need to switch my pups to NPC status and let people do what they want with them because they're obviously more fun when I'm not the one behind the wheel.

And Lee works today, and won't be home until after I leave. Upside, It's Friday, so I don't have to work tomorrow. So it'll be a late night talk I guess. And I think at one point she had Eire as 15 or 16... can't remember. Not to mention that the birthdates go Eire-June, Harley-Sept, Cory-May.

Date: 2006-05-19 09:38 am (UTC)Heh, well, he's so a Taurus. I think Rhos and Ella had both been established as being older so it pulled everyone up...but then again their older anyway, so I don't think spreading the others out should be an issue. 15's doable for Cory. His PB looks young anyway.
LOTS OF NEW PERISH, BTW (http://www.modelmayhem.com/pics.php?id=1262)
