I realised I haven't posted a real post in forever.

The move has been put off again. I'm beginning to believe that someone or something doesn't want me to leave the Snowlands of Hell. This time I had the money, had (and still have) a visit planned. All I had to do was fill out some apps and line up some interviews while down there.

Di has to go in to see the back surgeon Oct. 9th. Everything will proceed from there.

So, I went out and blew a crap load of money to help with the depression of not moving. *nods* Lots of things. Sent some people some presents I've been promising for ...forever.

Bought myself a new laptop, Flyboy. He's shiny and pretty and easy, just like John Sheppard. (And possibly Dean Winchester, but I think it would be bad if both Ne and I had computers named Dean.)

Gave Jezebel/Reno to TJ. It has since been renamed Schitzo, after the Living Dead Doll Clown I gave him for his birthday a few years ago.

We also went and bought my aunt a new laptop too (a 14in Acer, it was under $500). Just something she could use to get online and work on classwork stuff since her ANCIENT beast finally blew the hell up.

Other than that, just a lot of, well, impulse shopping. Sort of. A new printer that does photo printing. Some clothes (Happy Bunny shirts for the win). A crapload of food in the fridge. Oh, and I paid up rent until Dec.

Still plan on going on that trip this month. From Oct. 16-22nd. We'll be in Tucson, having fun, soaking up the sun.

Fic writing has just crashed, I haven't done a damn thing in weeks and feel like crap about it.

Halloween is coming up, my New Years and Christmas all wrapped into one, but I just can't be bothered this year.

*hugs* Sorry things haven't worked out. I'll keep my fingers crossed that, hopefully, things will work out well for all involved.

I think my next laptop is going to be named Daniel Jackson. Or Jack O'Neill. Then the external harddrive will be given the other name.
